We certainly wouldn\u2019t be without them! Here\u2019s a selection of our favourite dictionaries and books on medical translation and writing. Reading is such important for translators, so&#8230; take this recommendations into account!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>There are so many excellent books on general medicine that it\u2019s hard to select just a few to recommend. Some disagree with The Elements of Style, but it\u2019s a good read nonetheless \u2013 at least you\u2019ll know what the arguments are about!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Writing-Well-Classic-Guide-Nonfiction\/dp\/0060891548\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">On Writing Well: The Classic Guide to Writing Nonfiction<\/a>\u00a0by William Zinsser<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.ca\/Elements-Style-William-Strunk-Jr\/dp\/020530902X\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Elements of Style<\/a>\u00a0by William Strunk Jr. and E. B. White<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Books_on_medical_translation_in_English\"><\/span>Books on medical translation in English<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This is the only English book on medical translation we know of. A rare find!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Medical-Translation-Step-Practices-Explained\/dp\/1900650835\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Medical Translation Step by Step.
