Medicine brings people from all over the world together, because after all, health – especially in this day and age – is one of the cornerstones of our lives. Medical translation<\/a>, on the other hand, is the branch of scientific-technical specialisation that allows medicine to really bring people together, as it ensures the communication and exchange of information.<\/p>\n

However, all disciplines have in common a high degree of specialisation in language and a clear, precise and well-defined structure in their texts. On this basis, the translator faces a number of challenges when translating medical texts.<\/p>\n

Medical translation must meet all the communication needs within medicine and cover all its sectors and disciplines, such as general medicine, paediatrics, cardiology, endocrinology, pneumology and gynaecology. The list is long.<\/p>\n

Here we tell you about one of the most important parts of our work, namely project management.<\/p>\n

Management of medical translation projects<\/h2>\n

  1. First, we analyse the original text (function, target audience, sector, typology, communicative situation).
    \n2. We then choose the most suitable professional medical translator for each project on the basis of the above-mentioned points and their experience and specialisation.
    \n3. We prepare the files to facilitate the translator’s work.
    \n4 Finally, we proofread and revise the translated text to ensure that it meets the technical requirements according to the standard and that the text is cohesive and unified.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    By following these steps, we can guarantee quality in the sensitive and important field of medicine, including the pharmaceutical, publishing, public health and healthcare, research and institutional sectors.<\/p>\n
